‘Putting Flesh on the Bones’ is a collaboration between the University of Bradford’s Special Collections and Biological Anthropology Research Centre (BARC). With generous support from the Wellcome Trust, the project team will catalogue, digitise and promote the Calvin Wells Archive Collection. It is intended that the collection will become an invaluable resource for the study of palaeopathology and osteology.

The polymathic life and personality of Wells is captured in his archive which is of significant scientific, historical and cultural value.  As the project team unlocks the collection the blog will be updated with news, articles and event information.
